Battle of the Burgers presented by Republic Gun Club

Everyone is invited to join us on June 10, 2023 at Warren Park as food trucks and restaurants battle it out for who has the best burger or sandwich at this family-friendly community event featuring live music, cornhole tournament, vendors, a kid's zone, free wifi and much more! A Portion of the event proceeds to benefit Isaiah 117 House. Special thanks to our presenting sponsor, Republic Gun Club!

Food trucks will offer full menu at 7:00 p.m.

Parking: $5.00

1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Food Truck/Restaurant Arrival Window – First come, first serve!
2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Vendor Set Up
3:00 p.m. – Celebrity Judging by Martha Rivera, TSTC Culinary, Mayor Steve Fortenberry, GHC President Michael Wyatt and Michael George, GHC member and business owner. Judges will cut entries into fourths for judging after viewing presentation
4:00 p.m. – Gates open to public and Demonstration by Family Martial Arts of Texas
4:30 p.m. - Demonstration by CoDa Canine
5:00 p.m. - Cornhole Tournament & Rewind Party Band takes the stage
6:30 p.m. – Voting Ends
6:45 p.m. – Burger/Sandwich Awards Announced
7:00 p.m. – Food Trucks/Restaurants and Vendors welcome to serve/sell full menu and drinks to the public until 9:00 p.m.
 
Food Trucks/Restaurants & Vendors are responsible for bringing any needed tables, chairs, supplies, tents and electricity. There will be electricity available to the first five food trucks/restaurants. WiFi available. The GHCOC will sell tickets to all public guests for food purchases. **Food trucks will receive payment by check evening of event, $12 for each ticket turned in to the GHCOC will be paid back to food truck/restaurant.

Gates will open to food trucks at 1:00 p.m. and to vendors at 2:00 p.m. Food truck/restaurants and vendor spots are first come first serve during arrival window. Food trucks should be ready for inspections by 2:00 p.m.

Vendors must be in place with cars parked in general parking area no later than 3:00 p.m. Vehicles will not be allowed through the front vendor entrance gate after 3:00 p.m. due to safety. The event will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. No tearing down until 7:00 p.m., and vendors/food trucks/restaurants are welcome to stay to continue to sell until 9:00 p.m. Spots are exclusive to one vendor per company. Vendors and Food Trucks/Restaurants and all persons associated are expected to practice professional behavior and may be asked to leave event immediately by the hosting organization.

Please note that advertising/sponsorships/vendor reservations are not refundable as dollars go toward ongoing community development efforts. All vendors should be respectful to others' property.

By registering, I will not hold the Greater Hewitt Chamber, City of Hewitt or its members, committee, staff or volunteers responsible for damages or injury incurred during the Battle of the Burgers event on June 10, 2023.
